Taiwanese Students Association
Description:
The Taiwanese Students Association is a student organization dedicated to promoting and organizing events that provide a gateway for people within the campus community. We provide the students with a variety of cultural, social, and service events throughout the year. We enhance culture awareness on campus through our annual Culture Night, food festivals, hot pot dinners, etc. Socially, we host various parties, semi-formals, general meetings, game nights, freshmen dinners, etc. And for service, we participate in Booth, & volunteer at various places, including TRFCC and Tzu Chi, as well as fundraise (such as the recent Taiwan typhoon).

Tanah South Asian Dance Troupe
Description:
Tanah, Founded in 2002, is a south Asian dance troupe dedicated to performing South Asian and modern styles of dance, providing a creative outlet for any student who loves to dance, and encouraging cultural awareness on campus as well as off.

Tau Beta Pi
Description:
Tau Beta Pi is the oldest and most prestigious engineering honor society. The first chapter was founded in 1885 at Lehigh University. To be eligible to become part of Tau Beta Pi, you have to be in the top 1/8th of your Junior CIT class or top 1/5th of your Senior CIT class. Eligible candidates have to do community service and show a desire to excel in all fields of life (above and beyond a good academic performance).

The Carnegie Mellon University Variety Hour

The Cut Magazine
Description:
The Cut is Carnegie Mellon¬タルs music magazine dedicated to the exposure of Carnegie Mellon students to all types of music, the recognition of music in the Carnegie Mellon community, and the unification of students through music. The goals of this publication are as follows: A. To raise awareness of local music events in Carnegie Mellon and Pittsburgh community; B. To represent a diverse range of music and music information from established and upcoming groups; C. To recognize local bands in an official format, and; D. To expose Carnegie Mellon students to new music.

The Frame
Description:
The Frame is a student-run gallery space located under the Woodlawn apartments at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Margaret Morrison Street. The gallery is open to anyone who wants to display work created in art, music, design, and/or architecture. The artwork can consist of, but is not limited to, 2-D work, 3-D work, sculpture, installation, video, animation, bands, etc. Anyone interested can contact Rexy Tseng (chinchit) or Dana Lok (dlok) or stop by CFA 300 for exhibitor's applications and more information. At the beginning of each semester, the Frame gallery chooses a number of people to display there work for a week. The Frame gallery openings are every Friday usually from 7-9pm unless specified differently by exhibitor(s) and open to the public Fridays to Tuesdays from 12-5pm. We hope to see your work displayed.

The Tartan
Description:
The Tartan has been Carnegie Mellon University's student-run newspaper since 1906. With a weekly broadsheet paper circulation of 6,000, The Tartan serves the campus community of 9,500 students as well as faculty, staff and administration. One of Carnegie Mellon's largest student organizations, The Tartan is also a pre-eminent media source on campus. Every week, nearly 150 students come together to provide news and event coverage to the University and its surrounding communities. The broadsheet newspaper is comprised of four primary sections ¬タヤ News, Science & Technology, Forum, and Sports ¬タヤ while the tabloid section, Pillbox, also incorporates Comics. In addition, The Tartan also runs a news website, thetartan.org, and a semesterly literary and art magazine, Dossier.

The Triple Helix

Description:
Thought is an undergraduate research journal. We exist to support and publish undergraduate research of the highest quality. Our organization is unique in that we approach selection and editing of submissions, not only on style and prose quality, but also according to the standards of the field of study. Our staff consists of business, design, and editorial groups. Creativity and drive are always appreciated. In partnership with the Undergraduate Research Office, with sponsorship from various Deans, the president's office, and the dean's office, we have created the ability to continue publishing and are creating a basis upon which for the organization to continue throughout the years.

Tzu Chi Student Organization

A volunteer-based, spiritual as well as welfare organization, Tzu Chi¬タルs missions focus on giving material aid and inspiring love and humanity in both the givers and receivers. The purpose of CMU Tzu Chi is to provide a series of events for CMU undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and staff to do charity services in the local community.
