Senior Leadership Recognition

The Division of Student Affairs annually presents Senior Leadership Recognition to graduating seniors who have made substantial contributions to the Carnegie Mellon community.

While there are many talented and involved students in each graduating class, this honor is designed to acknowledge the top ten percent of graduating seniors whose unique contributions in academics and research, the arts, athletics, community service, or community engagement have made unparalleled impact on our community.

To nominate a graduating senior provide the following information on the nomination form by clicking the link below:

Describe how the nominee has made a substantial and unique impact on the Carnegie Mellon campus community, citing significant contributions in one or more of the five nomination categories (academics/research, arts, athletics, community engagement, community service).

List the nominee's awards, activities, and/or roles during their time at Carnegie Mellon which support or inform your nomination. These may include:

  • academic awards, scholarships, and membership in honor societies;
  • campus activities participation and leadership positions;
  • involvement in advisory councils or committees;
  • academic accomplishments (e.g., Dean's list, significant research projects or artistic works); or
  • participation in community service/volunteer activities.

Nominations close on April 1, 2012.

Self-nominations will not be accepted.  Senior Leadership Recognition if for seniors who plan to graduate between December 2011 and August 2012.

The Senior Leadership Recognition reception will take place on Friday, May 18 from 4:30-6:00p.m. in Rangos Hall, University Center.
