Pre-College Head Counselors

Head Counselors will be selected to comprise the senior staff of the 2009 Pre-College Program. These individuals, in collaboration with the Director of Student Life for Pre-College and Assistant Director(s), will develop and
implement a strategic plan for the 2009 Pre-College Program. The primary responsibility of the Head Counselor is to supervise a group of 3-5 Counselors, each of whom oversees a residential floor. Each Head Counselor will work with these staff members collectively and individually in an effort to create a safe, positive and educational experience for the students attending the Pre-College Program. The Head Counselors will also collaborate with the Assistant Director(s) and Director in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Pre-College Program. These operational areas include:

• Programming
• Weekend Trips and Major Events
• Duty and Office Management
• Programming for Commuter Students
• Coordination of Opening and Closing Day Logistics
