Pre-College Head Counselors
Five Head Counselors will be selected to comprise the Senior Staff of the 2008 Pre-College Program. These individuals, in collaboration with the Assistant Directors and Director of Pre-College Student Affairs, will develop and implement a strategic plan for the 2008 Pre-College Program.
The primary responsibility of the Head Counselor is to supervise a group of 3-4 Counselors, each of whom oversees a residential floor. Each Head Counselor will work with these staff members collectively and individually in an effort to create a safe, positive and educational experience for the students attending the Pre-College Program. The Head Counselors will also assist the Co-Directors in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Pre-College Program. In addition, the Head Counselors will take ownership for several areas of responsibility. The areas are:
- Programming
- Trips
- Major Events
- Duty and Office Management
- Programming for Commuter Students
