Chapter Advisors

All recognized fraternities and sororities at Carnegie Mellon University are required to have an active chapter advisor. A chapter advisor has three functions: to advise, to counsel, and to serve as a resource. The relationship that exists between an advisor and a student gives that student a chance to apply the knowledge he/she has obtained in class to real world situations and an opportunity to develop leadership skills, ethical decision-making skills, and creativity.
