Greek Life
The Interfraternity Council (IFC)
The Interfraternity Council is a self-governing body representing the 12 member fraternities at Carnegie Mellon. Weekly meetings are held with the IFC executive board and two delegates from each fraternity. The IFC strives to promote excellence in all aspects of fraternity life. The IFC works to better the Carnegie Mellon Greek community and represent the 12 member organizations to the greater campus community. IFC oversees fraternity recruitment each semester and serves as a clearing house for all issues related to the fraternity community. If you would like further information about IFC, fraternity life, or men’s recruitment, please contact one of the executive board members listed below.
