Greek Chapter: Pi Kappa Alpha
Why did you decide to become Greek? I came to school planning on going Greek. Both of my parents started chapters at their respective schools, and I wanted to have a similar enriching experience. While I did not start my own chapter, I look forward to making an impact on the community in other ways.
What is your best Greek memory? Winning Buggy freshman year. Being able to celebrate something that took our house a year to prepare for is the ultimate reward for bonding together as a house.
What has been your favorite Greek event at Carnegie Mellon? Why? While buggy is my favorite event at this school, if I had to pick a purely Greek event, I would pick Greek Sing. Its one of the few times a year that houses channel their rivalries with other houses into something that is productive.
How has being Greek prepared you in life? Being Greek has taught me the value of having a cohesive team. A good team can accomplish almost anything if they are willing to commit to success. Being Greek has also taught me how important Brotherhood is. I know that my brothers will always have my back, just as I will always have theirs.
