Why did you decide to become Greek? Greeks are known to go above and beyond in any and all aspects of life. It’s a widely known fact that you build relationships unlike any others through the Greek experience, and that was very appealing to me. I will honestly never forget the men in my fraternity and the times we’ve shared together.
What is your best Greek memory? Winning Mr. Fraternity last year was very exciting for both me and our chapter. It was a fun time to go cheer everyone on and see the different skits that the contestants were performing.
What has been your favorite Greek event at Carnegie Mellon? Why? I don’t think I have one in particular, but events like Greek Sing, Tartan Feud, DG Trivia, and other service/philanthropy events have brought plenty of great memories to me. It was a blast interacting with other Greeks while still having fun with your own members.
How has being Greek prepared you in life? The network that I’ve been able to create with my peers and alumni has, and will be crucial to my future as an engineer and individual. I also think Greek life has played a crucial role in developing my teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, which will propel me in life and my career.
