Welcome to SoHo!
SOHO is Carnegie Mellon's GLBTQ Resource Center. We have a library of books and movies available. SoHo is a comfortable space where you can come to talk, eat your lunch, watch a movie, or just hang out. We have information on everything from coming out and safer-sex practices to local counseling centers, GLBTQ-friendly clubs, and support for friends and family. If you need something, we can help, and if we can't, we can point you in the right direction.
Office Hours
If our door is open, you're welcome to come in. If it isn't, try knocking--we might be in there. Safezone members are available if you need to talk. We're always happy to sit and chat. ALLIES also holds its meetings on Thursdays at 4:30pm. For more information on ALLIES, please visit their website.
Get Involved!
Many receptions, movie nights and social events are hosted in SoHo.
If you are SafeZone trained and are interested in helping us run programs please email Rowshan Palmer.
Find Us
SoHo is located on the 3rd floor of the University Center. You can take the steps near Skibo Cafe up to the 3rd floor and we are right at the top of the steps. If you take the elevators, turn right out of the elevators and turn right again-the Cut will be on your left outside the windows. We are all the way at the end of the hallway-room 325.
