Gender/GLBT Intern
The Student Life Office provides an internship experience in Gender and GLBT programming and education. The internship is a one-year, paid position.
The intern works on programs such as:
- Mosaic, Carnegie Mellon University's annual conference on gender
- Coordinating Women's History Month events
- Coordinating the Women's Leadership Program
- Coordinating Pride Month/Gaypril events
- Co-facilitating SafeZone training
- Staffing SoHo, Carnegie Mellon's GLBT resource center
- Implementing other outreach and educational programs dealing with gender and/or GLBT issues on campus
Julian Arney is serving as the 2009-2010 intern. Please contact him if you are interested in bringing a gender or GLBT related program to your organiztion.
