Gender/GLBT Intern

The Student Life Office provides an internship experience in Gender and GLBT programming and education. The internship is a one-year, paid position.

The intern works on programs such as:

  • Mosaic, Carnegie Mellon University's annual conference on gender
  • Coordinating Women's History Month events
  • Coordinating the Women's Leadership Program
  • Coordinating Pride Month/Gaypril events
  • Co-facilitating SafeZone training
  • Staffing SoHo, Carnegie Mellon's GLBT resource center
  • Implementing other outreach and educational programs dealing with gender and/or GLBT issues on campus

Julian Arney is serving as the 2009-2010 intern. Please contact him if you are interested in bringing a gender or GLBT related program to your organiztion.
