Agencies in need of volunteer help

Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council

Searching for an English Speaker with a Telephone
Are you interested in volunteering but have only 1-2 hours a month?  Then you can help Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council.  We can partner you with a student who wants to speak English better over the phone.  An easy training and support will be provided.  Please contact Many Ly at 412-661-7006 or at mly@gplc.org for more information.

National Student Partnerships

The National Student Partnerships is in need of volunteers during the regular school year (Monday-Friday, 10AM-4PM). Our office is located in the Life's Work Building at 1323 Forbes Ave. The agency is looking for dedicated volunteers willing to provide one-on-one client service for those looking to enhance their resume, find jobs, find housing, and fill out state and federal documents, etc (with training provided).
