Student Life
Welcome to the Student Life Office!
The Student Life Office staff provides opportunities that emphasize community engagement and social responsibility while actively supporting the personal and professional development of students. To this end, we
- coordinate educational initiatives and accountability related to academic and non-academic Community Standards;
- advise programs such as Pittsburgh Connections, Arts Pass, Sexual Assault Advisors, and Safewalk;
- coordinate opportunities for student and alumni networking such as the Slice of Life series, Homecoming events, and the Dinner with 12 Strangers;
- coordinate community service activities including Service Saturdays and the Strong Women Strong Girls mentoring program; and
- advise and provide resources for the twenty-five social, Greek-letter organizations and governing bodies that comprise the fraternity and sorority community.
Our staff members also serve as Housefellows to Doherty House, Woodlawn Apartments, Roselawn Apartments, Margaret Morrison Apartments, PLACE House, Spirit House, and Tech House as well as the fraternities and sororities.
