Interfaith President's Council
The Interfaith President’s Council is an opportunity for the leaders of the recognized religious student groups to gather and engage in fruitful discourse. This is a student-led and student-driven body that, in their own words,
“serves as an umbrella organization for the faith-based student groups at Carnegie Mellon University. We acknowledge the religious/spiritual needs and interests of our campus community and aim to facilitate open communication and relationship building among those involved.
We are an action-oriented body that offers a forum for dialogue, collaborates on programmatic efforts, and seeks to increase the visibility of our faith-based student organizations.”
We Value:
- Active Listening
- Engaged Participation
- Inclusivity (even of those not "at the table")
- Loving and Respecting Others
- Safe Spaces for Sharing
- Respecting Comfort Zones of Individuals and Groups
