Gender Issues Intern

The Student Development Office provides an internship experience in Gender Issues. The Gender internship is a two-year commitment, and is a paid position. The interns work on programs such as:

  • Mosaic, Carnegie Mellon University's annual conference on women's issues
  • Coordinating Women's History Month events
  • Coordinating the Women's Leadership Program
  • Implementing other outreach and educational programs dealing with gender issues on campus (such as breast and testicular health awareness)

The Gender Issues Interns are also available to provide programs on gender and sexual assault issues to any organization on campus. The interns can be reached in the Student Development Office at (412) 268-9510.
