Student Life

SafeWalk is run by student volunteers and is for all members of the Carnegie Mellon community.

SafeWalk operates nightly during the regular school year (except certain holidays) from 11 pm until 3 am.

Students may request an escort in one of two ways: By calling the Dispatcher, or by approaching an escort team not currently responding to an escort call. Student may call the Dispatcher at 268-SAFE (x8-7233) to request an escort.
