Tricia Dugan
As one of two Document Managers in OIE, Tricia Dugan has primary responsibilities for issuing I-20 and DS-2019 documents for new incoming students and scholars. Tricia also serves as liaison to department coordinators and as the supervisor of OIE's student assistants and office workers.
Tricia is a certified fingerprint technician originally trained by the FBI and was previously employed by the Identification Division of the City of Pittsburgh . She opened her own business in 1995 and was contracted with the Department of Justice as a Designated Fingerprinting Service for the former Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). This experience piqued her interest in assisting people from every nation and culture to adjust to life in the U.S. , a role that she continues in her work at OIE.
Tricia's other professional affiliations include Pennsylvania Association of Notaries and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera Guild.
Working in OIE and at CMU, Tricia enjoys the pleasant and mutually respectful camaraderie with co-workers, and meeting people from all corners of the world - which she finds to be challenging and personally rewarding.
