Continuing Students: Spring Registration

Dear International Students,

This reminder is for international students who will register for spring 2010 during course registration beginning the week of November 16th. In order to maintain your F-1 or J-1 status, you must register for at least 36 units unless you are eligible and receive OIE authorization for a reduced course load for the spring semester. 

To request a reduced course load authorization, please return a completed Reduced Course Load Form prior to the end of the add drop period (Jan 22, 2010 for spring).

If you have questions about your eligibility for a reduced course load, please make an appointment with your OIE advisor by calling 412-268-5231.

If you need to drop below full-time after the start of the semester, you must return the Reduced Course Load Form to OIE before dropping courses in order to maintain your status.
