International Festival 2009
What's Happening to Diplomacy?
October 8-10, 2009
University Center, Carnegie Mellon
Throughout its 19 years, the International Festival has provided the community with a unique opportunity - a chance to engage and explore world cultures, pressing issues, and fascinating traditions through a wide range of mediums. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the 2009 International Festival: "What's Happening to Diplomacy?"
With an exciting schedule beginning Thursday, October 8 and lasting through Saturday, October 10, 2009, Carnegie Mellon's University Center will host a festival of captivating programs and events intended to bring to light issues of diplomacy around the world. In addition to the programs on each day of the Festival, we will also have an ongoing display of flags from around the world in Kirr Commons and Rangos Ballroom. Posters will also be on display in Wean Commons reflecting the study abroad experiences of our Tartans Abroad Scholarship recipients.
We encourage you to take a look at the full schedule of events and we hope to see you throughout the International Festival!
Sincerely,
