Spring Registration Week
THIS MESSAGE IS FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS ONLY. IF YOU ARE GRADUATING IN DECEMBER, YOU MAY DISREGARD THIS MESSAGE.
-------
Dear International Students,
This reminder is for international students who will register for Spring 2008 during course registration beginning the week of November 12th. In order to maintain your F-1 or J-1 status, you must register for at least 36 units unless you are eligible and receive OIE authorization for a reduced course load for the Spring semester.
To request a reduced course load authorization, please return a completed form http://www.studentaffairs.cmu.edu/oie/forstu/reduced.pdf prior to the end of the add drop period (Jan 25, 2008 for spring).
If you have questions about your eligibility for a reduced course load, please make an appointment with your foreign student advisor by calling 412-268-5231.
If you need to drop below full-time after the start of the semester, you must return this form to OIE before dropping courses in order to maintain your status.
Sincerely,
Nesli, Linda and Jennifer
