26	Tuesday	Establishing Credit in the US 5:00- 6:30 PM McKenna, University Center	International students interested in establishing credit in the US and learning to use credit responsibly should attend.
27, 28	Wednesday, Thursday	Health Insurance Questions for International Students 12:00 to 1:00 PM Class of 87, University Center	If you have questions about Carnegie Mellon student health insurance, come to this informal session to have all of your questions answered. Co- sponsored by Student Health and OIE.
27	Thursday	International Reception (For Undergraduates, Exchange) 7:00 – 8:00 PM Danforth Lounge, University Center	Reception for new international undergraduate students, new international exchange students and returning study abroad students. Casual social event with dessert served.

16	Tuesday	Job Search Information For International Students 4:30 - 6:30 PM McConomy, University Center	Sponsored by the Career Center and OIE, this session focuses on the career needs of foreign students. Info will include job search strategies and legal employment options for non-immigrants.
18	Thursday	ViewPointUS Series Volunteer Event: Global Links 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM	This is your chance to volunteer with some of your fellow International friends! Students and scholars will interact with the Pittsburgh community through service. Details to be announced.
26	Friday	OIE Fall Open House 2:00 – 4:00 PM Warner Hall, 3rd floor	Come at any time for snacks and conversation with the staff of OIE and your international friends. Bring friends, classmates, family members, too!

28	Tuesday	H-1B Information Session 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Connan, University Center	Led by OIE staff, this session will focus on transitions and strategies for foreign students and scholars with long-term plans to live and work in the US as H-1Bs.

14	Friday	OIE Signature Day 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Office of International Education, Warner Hall, 3rd Floor	Do you need your I-20 or DS-2019 to be signed? OIE recommends an updated signature every 6 months, especially for those who travel internationally. Instead of the usual 3-day processing time, bring your document to OIE for immediate processing.
