REACT Alcohol Education Course

The REACT (Re-Examine Alcohol Choices Today) Course is designed to provide participants with basic as well as advanced knowledge regarding the following topics:

  • Unintended consequences of alcohol use
  • How our culture views alcohol use
  • Why college students drink
  • Media literacy
  • Stages of Change Theory
  • Low risk guidelines
  • What “knowing your limit” really means
  • How to help a friend
  • What to do in an alcohol emergency
  • How to avoid second hand alcohol abuse

The 6 hour course is held on Saturdays only, and begins promptly at 8:00am. Students must arrive on time to get credit for attending. Breakfast and lunch are provided free of charge.
