PogoPalooza 6
Schenley Plaza, University of Pittsburgh
PogoPalooza is the annual gathering of the best extreme pogo athletes in the world. This year, PogoPalooza is being held in Pittsburgh, with the main event occurring right down the street in Schenley Plaza! At this event, pogo athletes from all around the United States, Canada, and England will participate in extreme pogo performances and competitions. Spectators will be astounded as jumpers clear heights of 9 feet, perform flips, and vie for world record titles. All of the U.S. pogo industries will feature their respective products, and all pogo sticks – both “classic” and extreme – will be available for anyone to try out. For an afternoon full of high- flying stunts, thrilling competitions, and lots and lots of pogo sticks, come down to PogoPalooza!

A Theatrical Handshake for Acting & Musical Theatre Majors

This mandatory session will begin with a brief warm-up of theatre games and exercises. Students will share a one-minute monologue. Following the monologues, faculty will present an overview of the Drama program and answer questions.

First-year students (both undergraduate and graduate) are encouraged to eat and relax with the upperclassmen as they celebrate the arrival of first-years and their own return with a BBQ Festival. Included in the festivities will be free food, live entertainment, games, sports and much more. The event is hosted by the Black Business Association, the Black Graduate Student Organization, Impact, the National Society of Black Engineers, Spanish and Latin American Student Association, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and SPIRIT.
