Family Weekend 2009

Dear Carnegie Mellon Family Members,

On behalf of the Division of Student Affairs, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend Family Weekend 2009 at Carnegie Mellon. It will take place Friday, October 9 and continue through Sunday, October 11. This weekend is an opportunity for all members of the Carnegie Mellon family to join together in celebration of our community. There is no charge for the program. All family members are invited.

The programs will begin late Friday afternoon and continue throughout the weekend. On Saturday morning, you will have an opportunity to meet faculty and advisors from your student's college. We hope that you plan to join us. The full schedule of events will be posted on line in September 2009.

As in the past, Family Weekend is scheduled to coincide with Carnegie Mellon's International Festival, an annual event that focuses on a theme. An array of cultural, educational and social programs and events will be offered throughout the weekend.
