If you're still in the job search, here's a few helpful tips:1. Check TartanTRAK periodically for new postings.
2. Look for job and internship announcements delivered via email from SCS Careers.
3. Make an appointment to meet with me to brainstorm some strategies. I can be reached at kevinc@andrew.cmu.edu, or by calling 412-268-2064 to schedule an appointment. Throughout the semester, I'll also be available for brief walk-in appointments on Mondays and Thursdays from 2-4 pm at 5101 Wean, and on Wednesdays from 2-4 pm at the Career Center.

Nametags
Important: Nametags are required for admission and will be given out to students who are preregistered. Avoid long lines! Nametags can be picked up on February 9 from 9am-6pm at the Rangos Ballroom. Nametags should be worn on your right lapel of your suit jacket. (Students not preregistered, can register the day of the event and receive a handwritten nametag.)
Getting Ready
- Attend Career Center Workshop "Working a Job Fair", Wednesday, January 31, McKenna,Peter,Wright, UC, 4:30-5:30 pm
- Review the Career Center 'Quick Tips' entitled "Prepare for Job Fairs" and "Professional Presentations"
- Update your resume and have it reviewed by your career consultant.
- Pickup your nametag on February 8 at UC Rangos Ballroom.
Attending
Dress in professional business attire, according to the industry you are pursuing. Jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes are not recommended. For questions please contact your Career Consultant. Be sure to bring many copies of your resume (one per company in which you have interest, plus extras) so that companies may learn more about your background.
