*Spring Employment Opportunities Conference
The Spring Employment Opportunities Conference (EOC) is a campus-wide career fair for ALL students from all majors—whether you are seeking full-time or summer internship opportunities. Last Spring, more than 150 hiring organizations attended. We hope you will join us this year!

Spring EOC Registration Fee:

  • Organizations over 100 employees:  $800 through December 11; $850 beginning December 12; $900 after January 28; Registration deadline is February 1, 2012
  • Organizations under 100 employees:  $300 through December 11; $350 beginning December 12; $400 after January 28; Registration deadline is February 1, 2012

NEW for 2012! TechSpark is an innovative career event designed to provide a platform for small business and early stage start-ups to engage Carnegie Mellon University students and alumni. Companies will be afforded the opportunity to network with, and recruit our students and alumni, as well as share information about their company story, mission, and/or products with all in attendance.

TechSpark is designed to be cost effective for employers. Therefore, we have four registration levels:

  • Presenting Attendee (FILLED TO CAPACITY FOR 2012) - $350 includes a 5-7 minute presentation, advertisement in the TechSpark directory, one high-top table, resume book of registered students and alumni (Opportunity limited to the first 7 employers who register at this level).
  • Advertising Attendee (FILLED TO CAPACITY FOR 2012) - $175 includes advertising in the TechSpark directory, one high-top table, resume book of registered students and alumni. (Opportunity limited to the first 3 employers who register at this level).
  • Attendee - $100 includes Reserved Table and resume book.
  • Guest - $50 includes employer attendee, resume book, no table.

*Creative Arts Opportunities Conference
(Hosted by the Career and Professional Development Center)
Students from all majors who are interested in applying their creative and problem-solving skills in a creative industry.

  • Employer Registration Deadlines and Fees: Early Bird $75 through January 31; Regular $125 beginning February 1; Late $175, after March 18, 2012
  • Non Profit 501 (c3) Employer Registration Deadlines and Fees: Registration $25 through March 22; $75  Late registration beginning March 23, 2012

Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley Graduate Career Fair
Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley is home to 160 masters and Ph.D. students in the fields of software engineering, software management, and electrical and computer engineering.  Students from both the full-time and part-time programs are invited to attend, so you will have the benefit of reaching both traditional grad school hires and interns, as well as working professionals who can be available for current openings.  Technical students from our Pittsburgh campus are also invited to attend.  For more information, contact Mikelynn Romero, Associate Director of Career Services and Student Affairs at Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley.  View a profile of the MS Software Engineering and MS Software Management students.

.ORG Job and Internship Fair
This annual event is jointly hosted by Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, Point Park University, and the Forbes Fund. Job and internship seekers can distribute resumes and speak with organizational representatives about current and future employment and internship opportunities in the nonprofit sector. There are also information sessions offering career advice to nonprofit job seekers. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 10:30am-3:00pm in Rangos. The European Career Fair
The European Career Fair @ MIT (ECF) is an annual recruiting event, organized by the MIT European Club, that connects employers from Europe with the most talented candidates that live in the US.

The Regional Diversity job Fair
The Regional Diversity Job Fair offers events around the country, providing a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with companies that are hiring and looking for top candidates.  Employers are seeking candidates with experience and interest in sales, engineering, government, security, education, military, medical, banking, financial services, and more.  The Regional Diversity Job Fair is FREE and open to everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, etc.

WestPACS Job Fair
Employers from around the country will be interviewing students and alumni from a variety of disciplines, including business, communication, computer science, engineering, health, humanities, liberal arts and the social, natural and physical sciences. Approximately 200 employers attend this job fair annually.  The job fair is open to undergraduate and graduate students and alumni from participating schools (Carnegie Mellon is a participating school). Employers may be hiring for full-time and/or internship positions.

The Spring WestPACS Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Monroeville Convention Center beside the Monroeville Mall. Register on the WestPACS website by March 26th for Free. Walk ins are welcome for a $10 fee the day of the event.
