Tech Sunday has expanded to become Career Express Weekend!

Due to the popularity of the Tech Sunday event sponsored annually by Alcoa, the Career Center has expanded this event to span two days in an effort to serve students of all majors.

The newly expanded event will offer students an extra day to learn the basics of conducting an internship and job search. On Saturday, attend one or all of the sessions! You will learn how to prepare a cover letter and resume, interviewing skills, conducting a productive job search, making the most of job fairs, marketing skills to employers, creating electronic portfolios, and understanding and negotiating job offers. On Sunday, the event will look much like it has in past years. You will hear a keynote address on the topic of how to find a job regardless of your major and will have the opportunity to interact directly with company recruiters and representatives to gain firsthand advice and tips on conducting an effective internship or job search. For those students considering graduate school, there will be a session on gaining admission to highly competitive graduate programs.
