You will be given ideas on how you can better market your education, experience, leadership and other skills to employers. Concerned about what you are going to be asked during an interview? This program will address commonly-asked interview questions and strategies to use in preparing your responses. Tips for preparing for interviews will be offered.

Thursday, September 24 – Case Interviewing

This workshop will cover why companies conduct case interviews, how they evaluate your performance, and how to prepare for the case interview ahead of time. You will practice with a case interview example to help get you thinking about the types of questions you may see during your interview process.

You worked hard to create your resume and to get that first interview. Now you have a site visit!! Join us to learn how to make that site visit a success. Learn what to pack, what to wear, what to eat and how to pace yourself for those all-day interviews at a company.

Carnegie Mellon University New York City Facility at 55 Broad Street, NY, NY

This annual event IN NEW YORK CITY is specifically geared towards students seeking summer 2010 internships in and around New York City in the finance industry. There will be a company site visit during the afternoon on Thursday, December 17 to a financial firm and an evening reception with Carnegie Mellon alumni on the evening of Thursday, December 17, 2009. There will be one-on-one internship interviews taking place on Friday December 18, 2009, at the Carnegie Mellon facility on 55 Broad Street in New York City. Please note you must submit your resume to TartanTRAK for all companies participating in Futures in Finance.
