On-Campus Interviews

Each year, the Career Center offers an extensive campus recruiting program that begins in October and ends in April.  Representatives from employing organizations visit Carnegie Mellon to interview candidates for permanent and summer positions.

• Registration for On-Campus Interviews
  To participate in on-campus interviews, you must register with TartanTRAK each academic year.
• Submitting Your Resume
  Select ‘Interview & Connect with Employers’ in TartanTRAK and then submit your resume for each position you are interested in. Check ‘personal dates’ to see if you were preselected for any interviews. If you were preselected, then select a specific interview time slot.
• Arriving for the Campus Interview
  You should arrive in the Career Center 10–15 minutes before your interview is scheduled to begin.  Place a check in front of your name on the interview schedule and wait there for the interviewer to greet you.
• Interview Cancellation Policy
  If you find it necessary to cancel an interview, you must notify the Career Center at least 24 hours before the time of your scheduled interview Tuesday through Friday, and 72 hours before a Monday interview appointment.  Candidates who “no show” or “late cancel” will have their TartanTRAK privileges revoked, and must meet with their Career Consultant.
