Spring EOC and TechSpark 2012
February 14, 2012
We are very appreciative of the support we received at this year’s Spring Employment Opportunities Conference (EOC) 2012. The recruiters who attended the event were very impressed with talent and professionalism of our students and alumni. This semester we have a seen a record number of attendees: 2,188 students and alumni, and 191 hiring organizations, of which 93 were first time attendees and 38 were start-ups and emerging companies. The discounts we offered and the CPDC’s aggressive employer development made it possible for more start-ups and small organizations to attend the event this year.
The charts below provide additional data about the event.

In addition, TechSpark, the new event for startups and emerging companies held the evening of February 13th, was a great success and attracted 25 companies and over 100 students and alumni. The non-traditional format and setup created an environment conducive to collaboration, networking, and innovation. The feedback was very positive and we look forward to hosting this event again next year.
Thank you again for participating and support. We look forward to seeing you at .ORG Career Fair for Non-Profits on February 29th and the Creative Arts Opportunities Conference (CAOC) on March 29th.
