Jennifer Baumgardner

Amy Richards
    Jennifer Baumgardner, a former editor at Ms. magazine, writes about politics and culture for Bust, The Nation, Jane, Out, Glamour, Marie Claire, Z, Mademoiselle, Nerve, and Ms., among other magazines. She has been excerpted in numerous books about feminism and has written speeches for women ranging from Faye Wattleton to Marlo Thomas. In her other life, she is an activist and organizes free political events such as abortion history teach-ins, intergenerational readings, and parties for equal pay. She is currently organizing the re-issuing of a series of feminist classics for Farrar, Straus & Giroux and is a pundit on She-Span, a political roundtable on the Oxygen network.

    Amy Richards is a co-founder of the Third Wave Foundation, the only national activist organization for woman between the ages of 16 and 30, the voice behind Ask Amy and has been at all of this almost as long as she has known and worked with Gloria Steinem. She is a contributing editor to Ms. magazine and has worked as a consultant to the Ms. Foundation for Women and Voters for Choice. Her writings are anthologized in Body Outlaws (edited by Ophira Edut), Listen Up (edited by Barbara Findlen), and can be found in The Nation, Bust and Ms. among other places. Amy is a board member of the Third Wave Foundation, and is on the Council of Advocates for Planned Parenthood NYC and on the board of Choice USA. She was named one of Ms. magazine's "21 Young Leaders for the 21st Century".

Nancy Lublin
    Nancy Lublin is the Founder and Executive Director of Dress for Success, the non-profit organization that provides suits to low income women when they have job interviews. After graduating from Brown University in 1993, she received her Masters degree from Oxford University as a Marshall Scholar. She founded Dress for Success in 1995 (while a full-time law student at New York University School of Law) with a $5,000 inheritance from her great-grandfather. Since then, Dress for Success programs have been launched in over 56 cities across North America, England, and New Zealand. Dress for Success has been featured on 60 Minutes, Oprah, The Today Show, People Magazine, and the New York Times. Nancy's youth, passion, and commitment to what she calls the "DotOrg" model will inspire.
