Am I covered overseas?

Our Medical plan contracted through Highmark covers you overseas. Our Dental and Vision plans offer domestic coverage only. For the medical plan, everything overseas is considered "in-net," meaning you would get the highest level of benefit paid for your specific plan, subject to your plan's deductible and coinsurance specifications. You'll often have to pay up front and then contact Highmark for a claims form for reimbursement (save all receipts!).

BUT, Highmark also offers preferred providers overseas. If you go to a preferred provider, you can take advantage of Highmark discounts and can also often have Highmark billed directly.
