- Does the event intermingle large numbers of participants who otherwise would not come into contact?
- How much risk can be mitigated by adjusting the event parameters?
- How essential is the event in the current climate?

Thoughtful planning of activities
- Hand sanitizers, disinfecting wipes and fewer handshakes
- Hold events outdoors or in larger indoor spaces
Mitigate risks presented by food distribution
- Limit finger foods and common source foods
- Use safe food handling practices (gloves, plates, serving utensils, etc.)
Explicitly discourage persons from attending the event if they do not feel well
