Walking Your Way to Health
The Staff Council Benefits Subcommittee, in support of the university's Healthy Campus 2010 initiative, would like to announce the creation of a Walking Club at Carnegie Mellon. Come explore a number of pleasant, mapped trails on and around the campus that include distance and estimated time to complete.
We plan to meet twice a week for 30-45 minutes over lunch time to get to know other staff members in the university community as we explore the campus. As the Walking Club grows, we hope to offer some incentives to participants. Participants will be provided with:
- A walking log sheet
- Maps of trails around campus
- Advice and suggestions to get you started
If you are interested, please send an email to either Kelley Anderson or Jackie Cipa.
